Chiké Okonkwo was born on March 18, 1982, in Kingston upon Thames, England. Chiké Okonkwo is a British actor. He appeared in the role of Ty Coleman in the 2021 series “La Brea”. He attended Tolworth Infants / Juniors School in Hook and Southborough High School. He received a first-class degree (BSc) in Business Computing from the University of Surrey, graduating in July 2003. After completing his education, he turned his attention to a full-time acting career. He was one of ten actors selected from the twelve thousand applicants for the BBC Talent Scheme in 2001, making his debut in Holby City. He trained at the National Youth Theater and was a member of the National Youth Music Theater from 1999 to 2002. He is the patron of the Kingston-based International Youth Art Festival. He has also appeared in the short films Tooting Broadway Flatmates and Knock Off. His film work includes Derailed (2005), Animal (2005), and Spirit Trap (2005).
