Kamlesh begins playing cricket under the leadership of Coach Surendra Singh Rathod. His father Lachham Singh Nagarkoti was a subedar in the Indian Army.

He completed his schooling education from Sanskar School Jaipur, after this he went to S.S. Jain Subodh P.G. College, Jaipur to pursue graduation. He currently resides in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Cricket Career/ Struggle
Kamlesh made his debut in a list on 26 February 2017 in Vijay Hazare Trophy with Rajasthan team.
After a few days, he took the first hat-a trick of Rajasthan against Gujarat. He has played for the Rajasthan team at an u14, U16 and U19 level.On December 2017, he was included in the Indian team for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018. Kamlesh Attract everyone by throwing a ball at 149 kmph in the Under-19 World Cup.
The Kolkata Knight Riders team bought him in 3.2 crores at the 2018 IPL auction, in January 2018.However, he could not play any match due to his injury.
Due to his incredible performance, he was selected in the Indian team for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2019 which held in Bangladesh.
