Katherine graduated from New Canaan High School in 1996. In 1992, she made her acting debut in That Night then appearing in My Father the Hero (1994) as well as Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995). From 2005 to 2010, Katherine starred as Izzie Stevens on the ABC television medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
