Mariana van Zeller Bio

Marina Van Zeller is a Portuguese journalist who was born on May 7, 1976, in Cascais, Portugal.  She is the host and executive producer of the series “Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller”. She studied International Relations at the Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa. After graduation, she worked for two years in the Portuguese private network, SIC. She earned a Master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She is a Documentary reporter for Travel Channel Current TV and the National Geographic Channel. She has also appeared on CNN, ABC, PBS, CBC, Channel 4 (UK). Mariana married Darren Foster, her former Columbia classmate.
