Richard Armitage was born on August 22, 1971, in Huncote, Leicestershire, England, UK. Richard Armitage is an English actor. He appeared in the role of ray in the 2021 series “Stay close”. In 2002, he played John Standering’s first major on-screen role in “Sparkhouse”. He appeared on the BBC in “North and South” before scoring episodes in “Macbeth”, “Inspector Linley Mysteries”, “The Impressionists” and “The Golden Hour”. His first lead role was in the 2005 British psychological thriller ‘Frozen’. He provided the voice-over for radio and TV for BBC coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2016, he won the Saturn Award for his acts as Francis Dolarhyde in the TV series Hannibal (2015).
