Salma Hayek was born on September 02, 1966 in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, México. Salma Hayek is an actress. At the age of 12, she studied at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. While there, she was diagnosed with dyslexia. She also went to Ramthe’s Enlightenment School.
She was educated at the University of Mexico City, where she studied international relations at the Universidad Iberoimmer. She moved to Los Angeles, California, to study acting, in 1991. Her teacher was the well-known acting coach Stella Adler. At the time, She struggled with dyslexia, as well as limited English fluency. She was cast as the lead in the Mexican telenovela “Teresa”.
