When he was in business school, Tilson worked with Professor Michael Porter on a competitive internal city initiative, of which Tilson served as executive director from 1994-98.
In 2004, Tilson co-founded the Value Investing Congress with John Schwartz. On November 29, 2007, David Einhorn presented Lehman Brothers with a small idea.
